Not Your Mom's Acrylics newsletter coming soon!

I am in the process of designing a monthly newsletter that will be devoted to my teaching and GOLDEN Working Artist adventures. Each issue will feature an artist working innovatively in acrylics, a tip on using GOLDEN products, and an update of where I will be teaching and exhibiting my work. Stay tuned!

Frame 301 installation this July

I have been hard at work on a large paper installation for Frame 301 , a window gallery at Montserrat College of Art. Titled Summer Constellation, it is a continuation of my scroll-shaped paper paintings recently exhibited at the Danforth Museum in Framingham, MA. I'll be installing this piece on Saturday, July 9.

What I am up to these days

Thank you, Deborah Barlow, for a lovely mention in your blog, Slow Muse , about my work at the Danforth Museum of Art . The show comes down after this weekend, hours are 12 - 5, Wednesday through Sunday. Deborah has a show opening this June at the Lyman-Eyer Gallery in Provincetown. I am excited about starting work on an installation at the Danforth this summer. I will be working with their Teen Docents to create wall painting similar to the Lesley University work I did this March. We'll be working with bathroom spaces and the stairwell leading to the Education Department. I will be sharing photos of that process when we begin the first week of July. I will also be showing a new installation at Frame 301 in Beverly MA.
